Resuscitation kit for calves

The kit is designed to help newborn calves who are found to have a heartbeat but cannot yet breathe.
Made of long-lasting, chemical-resistant material.

Includes:
- 1 aspiration mask
- 1 breathing mask
- 1 waiting reservoir – ventilator
- 1 soma
Usage:
- The aspiration mask is applied to the induction end (wide end) of the ventilator. The aspiration mask is used to suction out mucus and fluid that may be blocking the airways. It only takes 10 – 15 seconds to suction out the mucus. The aspiration mask is removed when no new mucus is visible in the aspiration mask.
- Attach the mask to the narrower end of the ventilator. It ensures sufficient air exchange, fits snugly to the muzzle and the rubber layer provides good insulation. Air is introduced through the induction valve and then passes through the ventilator and the two-way valve to the facepiece. The two-way valve expels the exhaled air without removing the mask.
