DoubleJug

The CalfExpert calf feeding robot takes milk from one of the tanks. If this tank becomes empty, DoubleJug automatically switches to the other tank and CalfExpert can continue feeding the calves without interruption. This means that there is no waiting and no interruption in feeding, thus making optimum use of CalfExpert’s high performance.

Once the first tank is empty, it is automatically cleaned. This means maximum hygiene and the best milk quality. The cleaning cycles are coordinated by direct communication with CalfExpert. Thus, the daily cleaning of the milk line between DoubleJug and CalfExpert only takes place when the milk tank itself is being cleaned – minimising calf waiting times.

DoubleJug does not take up much space in the calf house – it can be placed close to the calf feeding robot.

DoubleJug is equipped with a cooling device for both tanks – even small quantities of milk are cooled efficiently.
